LLAMA

Lama Glama

Family: Camelidae

Origin: South America

Lifespan: 15 to 25 years

Reproduction: After 11 months of maternity the female gives birth to one offspring. This reproduction period is done lying down like the other camelids.

Nutrition diet: Herbivore (grass, hay, bushes and cereals…)

Description: The llama only spits when it feels threatened but you should never try to scare it because it’s a very sensitive and fearful animal. It’s a natural weed cleaner and a packsaddler (use to holding heavy weights). Llamas are quite calm and like living in a group, they refuse to be alone.
