Reproduction: Females lay 6 to 20 eggs and the incubation period lasts 28 days, the small ones are called chicks.

Description: Guinea fowls live as a couple and stay united for life. Only the female broods but both parents raise the chicks. Guineafowls live on the ground and only fly if they feel threatened. They move in a group and make very loud screeching sounds when disturbed.
