GYPSY COB

Equus caballus

Family : Equidae

Origin : England and Ireland

Lifespan : 30 years

Reproduction : After 11 months of gestation, the female gives birth to a foal.

Nutrition diet : Herbivore (Grass, hay, cereals)

Description : The gypsy cob has an unusual look. It excels in many areas like western horse teaming, dressage or show jumping. It mesures about 1.50m and can be of all colours but we mainly find it piebald. It’s a good carrier and is very resistant, sweet and calm which makes it the perfect family horse.
