Reproduction: After 8 months of gestation the female gives birth to a single offspring called a calf

Nutrition diet: Herbivore (grass, plants and cereals…)

Description: Males lose their antlers every year in May so that new ones can grow covered in velvet. In August they rub their antlers against trees to take the velvet of and regain strong wooden antlers. It’s from this moment that the deers can become very dangerous. The reproduction period called rut is during mid-October.
