DWARF DONKEY

Family: Equine

Lifespan: 30 to 40 years (up to 50 years)

Nutrition diet: herbivore (grass, hay, cereals…)

Reproduction: After 12 to 13 months of gestation, the female gives birth to one young.

Description: Dwarf donkeys can be brown grey or piebald, which means that it’s of two colours (black and white). It measures 65cm to 80cm to the withers. These animals are strong, playful and intelligent. The call is a bray and generally lasts about 20 seconds and can be heard from 3km away!
