Origin: Africa

Lifespan: 15 to 20 years

Reproduction: After 9 and ½ months of maternity, the female gives birth to a single offspring called a calf.

Nutrition diet: Herbivore (grass, hay and cereals…)

Description: Nomad tribes used this animal as a beast of burden, supply of meat and milk, others tribes also used their blood and cowpat for building huts or for fuel. But for some people this animal is sacred and respected. The watusi has very impressive horns that can reach more than a metre long!
