Lifespan: 15 years

Reproduction: After 5 months of maternity, the female gives birth to 1 or 2 young per year called a kid.

Nutrition diet: Herbivore (grass, hay and cereals…)

Description: Often taken for a sheep, this middle-sized goat has magnificent fleece which gives the “angora or mohair”. This wool is well-valued for luxury clothing. It is usually white-coated but can sometimes be dark blue or black. Its fleece needs to be sheared twice a year and can produce upto 5kg of wool a year.
