Reproduction: The nest holds 15 to 20eggs and the incubation period lasts 35 to 40 days.

Nutrition diet: Omnivore (cereals, plants, fruits, insects, small animals…)

Description: The rhea is the biggest American bird, but it’s threatened of extinction, chased by farmers, due to damage in farming fields and the consumption of eggs. Females move from male to male and lay their eggs in the nests made by them. The males also raise the offspring alone.
